Hello! My name is Amelia but since we're friends you can call me Millie :)

I live in the Greenville, SC area with my parents, 10 siblings, and 2 dogs (Although if you ask me where I'm from I'll probably say MN since that is where I spent most of my growing up).

I am super passionate about photography and telling a story through a still image. When I was 12 I took a photography class and ever since then you can find me being a lens. I hope to really utilize this skill on the Race as not only a way to have life long memories from my time overseas but also as a ministry tool.

I love photography, deep conversations, ice cream, and coffee shops.

Jesus has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember but it wasn't until my early teen years that I truly made my faith my own. I had a crazy Holy Spirit encounter in 2017 that rocked my world and ever since then the Lord has become more and more alive in my life. I've had plenty of ups and downs but He has been faithful through them all.

I grew up hearing wild stories from my grandma about her time on the missions field. At 19 years old she set sail on a ship and went all along the coasts of East Asia spreading the gospel. It planted seeds in my heart and at 5 years old I walked around confidently telling people "I'm going to be a missionary when I grow up!" Ever since then I have been captivated by missions work. I remember watching the aftermath of the 2010 earthquakes in Haiti and my heart breaking for the people there, especially the orphans. I was 8 years old.

In 2018 I finally got to leave the States and went to Zacatecas, Mexico. and I knew that God was calling me to the missions field for my college years
