Moments in Guatemala
I’ve spent the last 2 months in Guatemala and I have fallen in love.
Aside from the natural beauty this country holds, what truly makes this place beautiful are the people. They are full of so much love, joy, and laughter.
A culture where family is the most important thing and artistic expression is their livelihood and passion.
I am so grateful for the time I’ve spent here and all the beautiful people I have met. The many special moments I’ve gotten to capture.
These photos don’t even begin to capture the beauty of this place and the people here but I hope they give you just a little taste of what I’ve gotten to experience.
I have a friend who married someone from Guatemala when he was here working as a migrant. She moved there with him and loves it there. They now have 5 children and she really enjoys the culture. Simpler lifestyle. She has homeschooled some of her kids as well. It’s a place I’d like to visit someday!
